Collaborative Law

Collaborative law is a way of practicing law based on a premise that most legal conflicts can be resolved by agreement when the parties and their lawyers neither use nor threaten to use the court system and agree to be cooperative and respectful during the process and addressing the issues that need to be resolved.

The collaborative lawyerÂ’'s role is to use need based communication skills combined with a solid legal background to help his or her client make informed agreements in each area that divorce requires the parties to address.
